Optimus Prime, Megatron - Battle of the robots

Wednesday : 24th June 2009, 8.02 p.m.

I wanna change my wind. Yeah. You heard me. I've watched the movie! Hahahahahaa. I almost didn't get to watch at first show. So, I joined the second crowd. E 17, Hall 1, GSC Mid Valley, you were the witness of my excitement! Full house! Some even had booked one week earlier. I mused, what for? You won't get the feeling of queuing up soooo long just to get yourself thrilled! The reason why I watched this movie; I watched the first one. I love films with actions and suspenses. I fell in love Megan Fox! Who won't?

The typical part in any full-of-actions Hollywood movie is that they will always put fighting, violent scenes before the real story comes in. I felt it with the first movie. Now, I saw it again in the second. Cliche but who cares? But I second the motion. This second one, Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen is more and more compact, dense with actions, thrills and graphics! Yeah. The graphic was so excessive and at times I couldn't take it. I remember, when Sam (Shia LaBeouf) heals back Optimus Prime with that Matrix of Leadership and the robot starts to combine with other robots to form a new, gigantic, full of power one, a mid 30-year-old man in the theatre started to get very excited unbelievably. He was screaming like, yeah! Go get them! Finish them! Hahahhaha. He had a daughter and a wife! I bet, his wife must have been very shocked to see her husband act out of control. For sure she was like, "Ya Allah, laki aku".

I've watched it. Have you?

My favorite scenes
  • Mikaela's (Megan Fox) facial expression when she couldn't get to chat with Sam on Sam's first day at college.
  • Mikaela's quick change to congratulate Sam.
  • Sam's mom talking about the L word. Nah. I thought something else.
  • Optimus Prime combines with others to form another powerful robot and fights the demonic robots. Goose bumps beb. With the scores, excellent!
  • Of course, dumbass! Mejar Lennox's (Josh Duhamel) screamings and orders to that defensive, cocky so-called Mr. President rep (Galloway, I think) when Lennox tries to get rid of that fella ON AIR.

My f***ed-up scene
  • One and only, that quick stripping and butt-showing by that ex-military man who helps Sam to destroy the Megatron and the gang. I almost puked. Trust me.

Superb! Excellent job! Totally loved it! Can't wait for the sequel.
